HAY publisher Helio: All staked BNB is secure, and all functions of the protocol will be suspended
ChainCatcher news, the BSC ecosystem stablecoin project Helio Protocol stated on its social platform that all users' staked BNB is safe, and they are in close communication with the Ankr team to discuss the restart plan for aBNBc, which will be announced to the public as soon as possible. To ensure safety, all functions of Helio will be suspended. Before the official further announcement, users are advised not to participate in HAY trading to avoid losses.
Previously reported, an attacker purchased 183,884.92 aBNBc from 1inch at a cost of 10 BNB (due to a massive issuance in the trillions), and then exchanged 183,884.92 aBNBc through Helio Protocol for 191,130.04 HBNB, which was then staked and lent out 16,444,740.14 HAY. Finally, the borrowed HAY was exchanged for 15,504,986.94 BUSD through 1inch, causing HAY to severely depeg. (Source link)
