Security agency: A fake account impersonating Flow's official Twitter has deceived users into granting authorization through airdrops, with thousands of people already falling victim
ChainCatcher news, Web3 security infrastructure company GoPlus Security tweeted that it has discovered a large phishing scam with 4,565 transactions. The attackers impersonated the official Flow Twitter account and purchased 157,600 fake followers. They lured users to click on phishing websites using false Flow high-value airdrops, effectively tricking them into granting malicious authorizations. Thousands of people have already fallen victim, and the attackers have profited millions of dollars, with on-chain data showing that new users continue to be scammed.
