Grayscale reiterates the security of its product assets: neither it nor the custodian has the right to misappropriate them, but it will not disclose specific address information
ChianCatcher news, Grayscale officially released an announcement reiterating the security of its product assets. The announcement indicates that the balance of holdings in Grayscale's digital asset products can be found in historical public documents assessed by third-party auditors; each digital asset product has a separate trust entity, and all digital assets are held by Coinbase Custody as the custodian. Both Grayscale and Coinbase Custody have no right to borrow, lend, re-hypothecate, or otherwise pledge the underlying assets of the products.
However, Grayscale also stated that Coinbase frequently conducts on-chain verification. For security reasons, Grayscale will not disclose the exact information of such on-chain wallets through cryptographic reserve proofs or other advanced cryptographic accounting procedures. (Source link)
