ChainCatcher news, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that blockchain is not expected to play a significant role in the company's business. The Ethereum merge marks Ethereum's transition to the PoS (Proof of Stake) consensus mechanism, leading to a massive influx of second-hand graphics cards (GPUs) into the market.

Additionally, NVIDIA's CFO Colette Kress acknowledged that the Ethereum upgrade has negatively impacted the demand for some of its products. Due to the previous GPU mining craze, Nvidia experienced an unprecedented sales boom in 2017. (source link)
