Binance submitted evidence to the UK Parliament, denying allegations of intentionally causing FTX's bankruptcy

ChainCatcher news, according to Yahoo Finance, Binance has sent a five-page document to the UK Parliament's Treasury Committee denying allegations that it intentionally caused the bankruptcy of FTX and outlining a series of events that led to FTX's collapse.

Previously, Harriett Baldwin, chair of the UK Parliament's Treasury Committee, accused Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao of being "the cause of FTX's collapse." This week, the UK Parliament's Treasury Committee held a hearing where Binance's Vice President of European Government Affairs, Daniel Trinder, attended and answered several questions, including whether Binance believed that selling its holdings of FTT assets would trigger FTX's collapse.
