The U.S. prosecutor requests the court to sentence the former business development director of BitMEX to 12 months of probation
ChainCatcher News: U.S. prosecutors are recommending that the court sentence former BitMEX business development chief Greg Dwyer to 12 months of probation for violating the Bank Secrecy Act. Additionally, prosecutors are seeking a "negotiated fine of $150,000."
Previously reported, in August, Greg Dwyer changed his plea to guilty in a criminal trial. Earlier, BitMEX co-founders Arthur Hayes, Benjamin Delo, and Samuel Reed also changed their pleas to guilty in their respective cases and managed to avoid incarceration at sentencing. (Source link)
