Circle now allows partner companies to accept Apple Pay as a payment method
ChainCatcher news, Circle announced that eligible businesses partnering with Circle can now further increase sales by accepting Apple Pay. The process to enable Apple Pay involves opening a free Circle Account and creating an Apple Developer account, then connecting to Circle's payment solution through a simple API integration and starting to test Apple Pay and other payment methods in the Circle sandbox.
Circle stated, "This can help crypto-native businesses build stronger connections with customers who want to pay using more traditional methods, even allowing them to use Apple Pay to purchase cryptocurrency on their favorite exchanges. Apple Pay and Circle's payment solution enable crypto-native businesses to accept payments from customers who do not use crypto, and NFT marketplaces, crypto games, crypto exchanges, crypto wallets, and cross-border remittance providers can easily handle checkout using Apple Pay and Circle. Traditional businesses can also leverage this enhancement to shift more retail payments to digital currencies settled in USDC." (source link)
