ChainCatcher news, New York venture capital platform Modus has announced the launch of a $75 million venture capital fund, Modus Africa, which targets AI and blockchain startups in sub-Saharan Africa.

It is reported that Modus Africa is expected to complete its final fundraising in the first quarter of next year. Modus stated on its website that its fund has the support of multiple investors, including ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private investors, and government-backed entities from the United States, the European Union, and the Middle East and North Africa.
