ChainCatcher news, OpenSea officially announced that collectors are increasingly inclined to trade NFTs in no-royalty NFT markets to maximize their income during the bear market. Last week's data showed that nearly half of the transaction volume of the top 20 NFT collections did not pay royalties.

OpenSea stated that it chooses to continue charging creator royalties for all existing NFT collections, which can assist creators in enforcing royalties through on-chain mechanisms. It suggests that creators establish more incentives for the community and refuses to link from project official websites to no-royalty NFT markets.

OpenSea also mentioned that it will publicly share creator fee data in the coming weeks and will provide more updates on creator-related technologies and tools later this week. (source link)
