ChainCatcher news, the Web3 social graph protocol LensProtocol announced that it will adopt the Web3 and encrypted communication protocol XMTP to provide secure and private direct messaging services between Profiles throughout the Lens ecosystem, currently allowing users to send direct messages to each other in Lenster. LensProtocol stated that messages from LensProfile will be available on any other front end that supports XMTP, all messages are end-to-end encrypted and can only be decrypted via wallet addresses, and messages are sent off-chain, incurring no Gas fees.
