In October, there were more than 25 typical security incidents, among which the total loss from attack-related security incidents was approximately $981.04 million, about 5.97 times the loss amount in September. October was the month with the highest loss amount in the blockchain field since 2022.

This month, the DeFi sector experienced frequent attack incidents, with a total of 11 incidents where the single loss amount exceeded $1 million, including two security incidents with losses exceeding $100 million. The official cross-chain bridge attack incident on the BNB Chain involved a huge amount, and wallet security was also a key focus this month, with 3 typical security incidents occurring.
