ChainCatcher news reports that according to the official website of Hong Kong FinTech Week, prominent figures in the crypto and Web3 fields, including SBF, a16z partner Alex Rampell, Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu, and Ant Group CEO Jing Xiandong, will attend and speak at Hong Kong FinTech Week. The event will take place from October 31 to November 4.
According to previous reports, Hong Kong's Financial Secretary Paul Chan revealed that the SAR government will release a policy declaration regarding the development of virtual assets in Hong Kong during "FinTech Week," showcasing the vision of transforming Hong Kong into an international virtual asset center and exploring financial innovation in collaboration with the global asset industry.
Paul Chan mentioned that "Hong Kong FinTech Week" will introduce new elements, including the distribution of limited edition Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP) tokens to participants in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on a first-come, first-served basis. Token holders will be able to create their exclusive virtual avatars through 3D scanning, providing guests with a new experience, and in the future, they can use the tokens to gain priority access to other industry events.
