A scammer using the alias "Monkey Drainer" has stolen over 1 million dollars worth of ETH and NFTs in the past 24 hours

ChainCatcher news, according to Cryptoslate, a phishing scammer known as "Monkey Drainer" has stolen 700 ETH worth approximately $1.05 million in the past 24 hours.

According to on-chain detective ZachXBT, nearly 35% of the loot taken by this phishing scammer in the past day was stolen from two victims, who collectively lost assets worth about $370,000. One of the victims held over $6.2 million in cryptocurrency but only lost assets worth $220,000, with other transaction requests being declined. The other victim's losses included several NFTs, including a Bored Ape, and $36,000 in USDC, totaling approximately $150,000.

Additionally, ZachXBT estimates that Monkey Drainer has successfully scammed several times in the past few weeks, with total earnings around $3.5 million. (Source link)
