ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Central Bank of Turkey plans to launch a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in 2023 and will collaborate with other banks for its research and testing.

According to the official report, the Central Bank of Turkey plans to cooperate with the local Ministry of Finance and the Scientific and Technological Research Council to integrate the digital Turkish lira system with digital identity and the payment system FAST operated by the Central Bank of Turkey.
