WeMade has officially launched the stablecoin WEMIX, which is pegged to USDC at a 1:1 ratio

ChainCatcher news, South Korean gaming giant Wemade has issued 11 million WEMIX stablecoins pegged 1:1 to USDC on Saturday. To maintain the stablecoin's value at $1, Wemade activated the DIOS protocol, which is responsible for issuing and burning WEMIX to keep the token at a 1:1 ratio with USDC. In addition to the stablecoin, Wemade also launched the DeFi project WEMIX.Fi, allowing users to store, swap, and stake Wemade's cryptocurrency.

Wemade also announced the launch of NILE (NFT Is Life Evolution), a DAO-based platform for creating and managing NFTs in art, sports, music, and other communities. These developments will further expand Wemade's latest blockchain mainnet WEMIX 3.0, which was launched on October 30.

Previous report, WeMade CEO Henry Chang stated at the TOKEN 2049 event in Singapore that WeMade will launch the WEMIX3.0 ecosystem in October, including the blockchain gaming platform WEMIX PLAY, the NFT platform NILE, and WEMIX Fi. (forkast)
