ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement, the official team of Klaytn, a public chain under the South Korean internet giant Kakao, has submitted a governance proposal to the Klaytn Governance Council (GC) to "reduce block rewards," suggesting a one-third reduction in the current block rewards to optimize the Klaytn ecosystem for sustainable development.

It is reported that currently, the Klaytn network mints 9.6 KLAY for each new block, and if the proposal is approved, 6.4 KLAY will be minted for each new block. (Source link)
