Circle collaborates with Axelar to enable composable USDC cross-chain

ChainCatcher news, the universal interoperability platform Axelar announced a partnership with Circle to add its General Message Passing (GMP) to Circle's cross-chain transfer protocol, enabling composable USDC that allows native USDC and function calls to be integrated into any DApp on any chain.

New use cases reportedly include cross-chain swaps, one-click trade execution, and cross-chain NFT transactions. Avalanche, Cosmos, Ethereum, Polygon, and Sui will be among the first blockchains to integrate with Axelar. According to previous reports, Circle announced its native USDC bridging protocol last month. (Source link)
