ChainCatcher news, the public chain Sui announced the upcoming introduction of MIST, which is the smallest unit of the SUI token, 1 MIST = 10^-9 SUI, meaning 1 SUI equals 1 billion MIST. Sui stated that the introduction of MIST will provide better support for micropayments, including very low Gas fees.

Sui mentioned that users will soon see the new SUI and MIST value display logic in the Sui Wallet and Sui browser. In terms of faucets, the allocated Gas number will increase to 50,000,000, or 0.05 SUI. (source link)
