Brazilian digital bank NuBank partners with Polygon to launch cryptocurrency token

ChainCatcher news, Brazilian digital bank NuBank announced a partnership with Polygon, expecting to fully launch its token Nucoin in the first half of 2023, targeting its 70 million customers in Latin America. NuBank plans to distribute the tokens for free to users and has selected 2,000 users to participate in the internal testing of the token and rewards system.

The token will be powered by Polygon Supernets technology, which allows the creation of application-specific, scalable, and customizable blockchain networks.

Previously, in May, NuBank partnered with Paxos to launch Nubank Crypto services, enabling its Brazilian customers to buy, sell, and store cryptocurrencies through the bank's app, accumulating nearly 2 million users by September. (source link)
