ChainCatcher news, Dapper Labs, the company behind CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot, now allows NFT collectors affected by EU sanctions on Russia to withdraw NBA Top Shot, NFL ALL DAY, and UFC Strike NFTs from Dapper Wallet to Blocto Wallet.

In early October, Dapper Labs announced that due to new sanctions imposed by the EU on Russia, they were notified by their payment partner Circle that they are prohibited from providing crypto asset wallets, accounts, or custody services to accounts linked to Russia. This includes temporary measures such as prohibiting the purchase, sale, or gifting of any Moments from Dapper Sports, withdrawing from Dapper accounts, and using Dapper balance for purchases.

On October 6, the EU confirmed a comprehensive ban on providing crypto services to Russians, including plans to strengthen existing crypto asset bans by prohibiting all crypto asset wallets, accounts, or custody services. Russians will not be able to hold any assets in EU crypto wallets. (source link)
