Chain Catcher news, Azuki has released an open-source token standard called Physical Backed Token (PBT), which supports binding physical items to the Ethereum blockchain. Its features include decentralized authentication and the tracking of ownership of physical items, with the entire process being on-chain.

Azuki refers to this model as Scan to Own, meaning that if a physical item is sold or gifted to a new owner, the subsequent owner can "Scan to Own" the same physical item, thus enabling the decentralized transfer of PBT from the previous owner to the new owner. (Source link)
