ChainCatcher news, Astar Network founder and CEO Sota Watanabe announced on Twitter that Astar 2.0 will be launched in the first quarter of 2023. Astar will focus on EVM and WASM in the future, and once Layer 1 is ready, it will deploy Ethereum bridging and Dfinity bridging.

It is reported that Astar 2.0 aims to become a multi-chain DApp hub in the Polkadot ecosystem, supporting EVM, WebAssembly, and multiple Layer 1 blockchains.
