ChainCatcher news, according to internal documents from Meta, the company's metaverse VR social application Horizon Worlds may not meet internal performance expectations. Meta's initial goal was to reach 500,000 monthly active users for Horizon Worlds by the end of the year, but currently, that number is less than 200,000. Most users have not returned to the platform after logging in during the first month, and the user count has been steadily declining since spring. Only 9% of the content in Horizon Worlds has been accessed by about 50 people, and most content has never been visited.

It is reported that at the beginning of October, the Horizon Worlds team was instructed to maintain a "quality lockdown" for the remainder of the year to ensure that quality and performance issues are addressed first. (Wall Street Journal)
