Bank of Canada: The proportion of local residents holding Bitcoin increased to 13.1% in 2021

ChainCatcher news, data from the Bank of Canada shows that the proportion of local residents holding Bitcoin has increased from 3.2% in 2016 to 13.1% in 2021.

Among them, the percentage of male holders increased from 4.4% in 2016 to 19.3% in 2021, while the percentage of female holders rose from 2.2% in 2016 to 7.2% in 2021. Among those aged 18 to 34, the proportion of Bitcoin holders exceeds 25%. (source link)
