ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the organization Flashbots, which aims to study the MEV (Miner Extractable Value) issue, announced an upgrade designed to address censorship resistance and concerns about decentralization. Flashbots' product lead Robert Miller discussed how to tackle these issues earlier this month and stated that they are exploring a decentralized solution.

Flashbots' strategic lead Hasu announced today that the protocol is called "SUAVE." SUAVE aims to gradually achieve decentralization of the block building process by open-sourcing its code and development, allowing anyone to contribute. It will have cross-chain and multi-chain support and will work with any Ethereum-compatible blockchain or Rollup.

According to the development team, more details about SUAVE will be released in the coming weeks. Previously reported, Flashbots co-founder Stephane Gosselin resigned last month after a disagreement with the team over wanting validators to support uncensored relays. (source link)
