QANplatform: New tokens may be airdropped through network snapshots taken before the attack
ChainCatcher news, the Layer1 blockchain QANplatform, which is resistant to quantum computing attacks, has updated regarding the attack on its bridge smart contract, stating that it may take a snapshot of the state before the hacker attack and then airdrop new tokens. Currently, trading, deposits, and withdrawals on CEX have been suspended, and liquidity has been withdrawn from Uniswap and Pancakeswap to mitigate user losses.
According to PeckShield, the attacker may have extracted more than half of the maximum supply of QANplatform tokens QANX (over 3.3 billion), which is more than 1.4 billion tokens. According to CoinGecko data, the QANplatform token QANX has dropped over 93% in the last 24 hours. (source link)
