Polygon Hermez officially launches zkEVM public testnet
ChainCatcher news, Polygon officially announced the launch of the zkEVM public testnet today. According to David Schwartz, the project lead of Polygon Hermez, the zkEVM testnet's open-source prover supports all opcodes (except Pairings/Blake/SHA256 - type 3 zkEVM), with 97% of Ethereum EVM test vectors applicable.
According to the official announcement, some well-known EVM DeFi platforms currently include Aave and Uniswap, as well as the Web3 social platform Lens and the game studio Midnight Society, which are among the first protocols deployed on the zkEVM testnet. (source link)
