ChainCatcher news, Web3 game company Flowstate Games has completed a $2 million Pre-Seed funding round, led by Play Ventures Future Fund, with participation from Web3 infrastructure development company Equilibrium, Elite Game Developers founder Joakim Achrén, and his angel investment team.

The company will launch its first Web3 car combat game, Smash Stars: Thunderdome, with an alpha test version set to be released in the first quarter of 2023. Players can use mounted cannons to take down enemies, with each vehicle represented as an NFT in the game, allowing them to be traded on the secondary market. Flowstate Games has also partnered with Immutable X, which addresses issues faced by early Web3 adopters, such as security, gas fees, carbon neutrality, and NFT trading scalability. (source link)
