Chaincatcher news, the client software for tBTC v2 has now been released, marking the launch of tBTC v2 into its first phase (referred to as Chaosnet 0). The Chaosnet phase aims to gradually roll out tBTC v2 across multiple stages to ensure the robustness of the client and protocol. This phase will initiate the Chaosnet Beta program, allowing anyone to set up nodes and earn rewards. In Chaosnet 0, only nodes operated by Beta Stakers will be selected to perform protocol work. In addition to meeting standard uptime requirements, Beta Stakers must also be highly communicative and able to provide logs.

It is reported that tBTC v2 will be the first non-custodial solution to connect BTC to Ethereum on a large scale, with plans to extend Bitcoin's properties to every major network. (source link)
