Transit Finance: The largest hacker has returned over 80% of the stolen funds
Chain Catcher news, Transit Finance tweeted that as of now, the hacker who stole the largest amount of funds (addresses 0x75F2…FD46 and 0xfa71…90fb) has returned over $18.9 million of the stolen funds, accounting for approximately 83.6% of the total stolen amount. Of the remaining stolen funds, 12,500 BNB has been transferred to Tornado Cash, accounting for about 15.7% of the total stolen funds.
Chain Catcher previously reported that the hacker had pushed about 70% of the stolen assets to two addresses yesterday. Transit Finance stated that to secure the assets, the official team has transferred them to new addresses on Ethereum and BSC, and fund tracking is ongoing. (Source link)
