Chain Catcher news, the Ethereum Push Notification Service (EPNS) has officially announced its rebranding to Push Protocol. According to the official announcement, this brand transformation lays the foundation for its expansion beyond Ethereum and push notifications. Push Protocol will support all forms of communication and span any L1 or L2, aiming to become the Web3 communication platform.
Additionally, the launch of Push Protocol will not affect existing notifications, channels, or subscribers that were initiated or joined EPNS in the past year; these users will continue to enjoy push notifications under the new brand. The PUSH token remains the only native token of the protocol. (Source link)
