According to ChainCatcher, TechCrunch reported that the metaverse concert platform AmazeVR announced the completion of a $17 million funding round, with participation from Mirae Asset Venture Investment, CJ Investment, Smilegate Investment, GS Futures, LG Technology Ventures, and South Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM.

CJ ENM stated that investing in AmazeVR is part of its strategy to expand its digital technology business in AR/VR technology, the metaverse, NFTs, and more. Earlier this year, they also acquired a minority stake in the American metaverse company Hyperreal Digital.

It is reported that AmazeVR previously collaborated with the South Korean girl group Aespa to host a virtual concert, and to date, the total amount of funding has reached approximately $47.8 million. (Source link)
