Aspen Creek Digital, a solar-powered Bitcoin mining company, has completed an $8 million Series A funding round
According to Chain Catcher news and reported by CoinDesk, solar-powered Bitcoin mining company Aspen Creek Digital (ACDC) has completed an $8 million Series A funding round, led by Galaxy Digital and Polychain Capital.
It is reported that ACDC was established in January 2022 and began operations in June this year at a 6 MW solar power facility in western Colorado. The miner will use the funds for its second mining facility in Texas, which will have a mining capacity of 30 megawatts (MW) and will be located at the same site as an 87 MW solar farm. The facility is expected to be operational later this fall. (CoinDesk)
