According to Chain Catcher, citing sources from The Block, the crypto derivatives exchange Deribit has completed a new round of financing, with a valuation of $400 million and a funding amount of $40 million. Existing investors such as QCP Capital, Akuna Capital, and Dan Tapiero's 10T Holdings participated in this round of financing.

Previous report mentioned that Deribit was affected by the liquidation of its shareholder Three Arrows Capital in June this year, resulting in some losses. According to one source, due to the impact of Three Arrows Capital and the current weak market conditions, the latest financing was significantly discounted. It is reported that in August 2021, Deribit completed a $100 million financing at a valuation of $2.1 billion. (The Block)
