Chain Catcher news, OpenSea has officially launched the NFT rarity open standard OpenRarity. Users can now view it in the NFT projects Cool Cats, Pudgy Penguins, and the Moonbirds series. Creators can add their NFTs to OpenRarity by navigating to their settings page.
OpenRarity is an NFT rarity open standard developed in collaboration between OpenSea, the NFT analysis tool Curio, the NFT analysis platform icy.tools, and PROOF, the parent company of Moonbirds. It aims to provide a transparent, mathematically sound open-source rarity calculation, enhancing the transparency of NFT rarity rankings. Developers can access OpenRarity scores and rankings via API.
