Chain Catcher News: The 8th Global Blockchain Summit, hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Lab, officially opened online today at 9:30. This summit features an opening ceremony and eight thematic venues, including blockchain technology, Layer 2, privacy computing and data governance, Internet of Things and carbon neutrality, metaverse, blockchain economics, DAO, and Web 3.0.

On the first day of the summit, Xiao Feng, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wanxiang Holdings, will deliver a speech and a keynote address titled "New Stage of Blockchain: Explosion of Application Protocols." Other speakers include Dominic Williams, Founder and Chief Scientist of the DFINITY Foundation, and Avery Ching, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aptos.

The 8th Global Blockchain Summit started on September 20 and will last for 9 consecutive days, with 2 to 3 hours each day, inviting technology leaders, experts, scholars, and industry elites to discuss various topics. (Click here to watch the live broadcast)
