Research: The total DAU of major public chains accounts for only 0.05% of the internet, and Web3 developers make up less than 0.06% of global developers
Chain Catcher news, recently Redpoint Ventures General Manager Tomasz Tunguz stated at DuneCon 2022 that the daily active users (DAU) of major public chains total about 2.5 million, while the internet DAU is 5 billion, currently accounting for only 0.05%.
In addition, there are about 16,000 developers in the Web3 space, while there are approximately 27 million developers in the world. Web3 developers account for less than 0.06%. (source link)
