Indonesian cryptocurrency trading platform Reku completes $11 million Series A funding, led by AC Ventures
According to Chain Catcher news and reported by TechCrunch, Indonesian crypto trading platform Reku has announced the completion of a $11 million Series A funding round, led by AC Ventures (ACV), with participation from Coinbase Ventures and Skystar Capital. The funds will be used to expand the team, which currently has 80 employees, with plans to add 50 more positions. Additionally, the platform will continue to focus on security, compliance, efficiency, and scalability.
It is reported that Reku was founded in 2017, and its total trading volume on the platform reached $3 billion last year. Reku recently appointed former Bain Capital private equity investor Jesse Choi as Chief Operating Officer. (TechCrunch)
