MetaMask integrated with Pix through the payment infrastructure company MoonPay, charging about a 1% commission on each transaction, plus real-time calculated network fees.
Pix is a real-time retail payment system launched by the Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) in October 2020, with 126 million users, and has been used by cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance and Bybit. (Coindesk)
