Chain Catcher news, NEAR ecosystem EVM scaling network Aurora tweeted that due to the upcoming Ethereum merge, the Rainbow Bridge will be suspended on September 11 at 1 PM CET to avoid technical risks associated with the merge (such as transaction replay attacks) and potential risks related to congestion on the ETH network before the merge.

Aurora stated that after the Ethereum merge, the Rainbow Bridge will be restored once the security of the new ETH network is confirmed. It is important to note that during this period, Aurora will not suspend the token transfer functionality between NEAR and Aurora. (Source link)
