Singapore investment firm Whampoa plans to launch a $100 million digital asset investment fund

Chain Catcher news, Shawn Chan, CEO of Singapore's Whampoa Group, stated that the company plans to deploy approximately $100 million in emerging digital asset startups through a venture capital fund, with plans to scale up afterwards, investing in equity and tokens of products or services that support and promote the large-scale application of Web3. The fund may be launched in the next quarter.

It is reported that Whampoa Group has invested in about 200 companies over the past 10 years, including the $500 million fund launched by ByteDance and Binance Labs in the second quarter. (Source link)
