According to Chain Catcher news, the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission (Thai SEC) has officially charged Zipmex Co., Ltd. (Zipmex) CEO Eklarp Yimwilai.

It is reported that Zipmex and Eklarp failed to submit the electronic wallet data (wallet) and other business operations used for storing customer assets, as well as details regarding digital asset transfers or withdrawals, to the regulatory officials within the specified time. After receiving notification from the regulatory officials, only partial information was submitted. This has been deemed illegal and is subject to penalties under Article 75 of the Digital Asset Act. Officials stated that the charges from the Thai SEC are just the beginning of the criminal enforcement process. (Source link)
