Unlike any previous Web3 conference, this event was designed from the outset for technical exchanges among developers, focusing on the hottest topics such as the Move language and ecosystem, Omnichain, and more, featuring speeches and roundtable discussions. It was truly a feast of Web3 technology. Attendees expressed their gratitude to the organizers, stating, "Previous Web3 conferences were all about the investor's perspective, discussing the market and trends, lacking depth. This Hangzhou Web3 Developer Conference approached from a technical angle, delving into the Web3 industry, providing many valuable insights and practical information. We hope the organizers can hold more such conferences in the future."

The Hangzhou Web3 Developer Conference invited leading projects from the Move public chain and the entire chain track to share their experiences. Notable participants included Sam Blackshear, CTO of Sui (one of the twin stars of the Move public chain) and the father of the Move language; Emma Zhong, a software engineer at Sui; LayerZero, a pioneer in the full-chain era; Axelar, another leading full-chain interoperability protocol; and Starcoin, a pioneer of the Move public chain. Additionally, Guo Guanghua, CEO of ChainX, ComingChat, and OmniBTC, along with top Move language developers and chief blockchain engineer Zhao Jianbing, also attended as special guests.

At the opening of the conference, Sam Blackshear, CTO of Sui and the father of the Move language, delivered a keynote speech. Sam's presentation focused on three core questions: Why does crypto need a secure asset-oriented language (Move language)? How does Sui Move combine the core Move language with a new object-oriented data model? How does the Sui blockchain leverage the object-oriented data model for scalability? Sam explained these key issues in an easy-to-understand manner, guiding Move language developers and Sui ecosystem builders.

Next, Isaac, the chief Chinese developer of LayerZero, provided a detailed introduction to LayerZero's technical implementation, decentralized features, and security characteristics. Specifically, Isaac explained how to validate messages through oracles and relayers, and how to ensure three attributes: first, that the information will arrive; second, that the information is accurate upon arrival; and third, that the information arrives in order. Additionally, Isaac looked ahead to the current state and prospects of LayerZero's applications, as well as potential use cases with Move ecosystems like Aptos/Sui.

Guo Guanghua, CEO of ChainX, ComingChat, and OmniBTC, provided a comprehensive overview of the product concepts and development plans from ChainX to ComingChat and then to OmniBTC. He announced the official launch of the Move Chinese community, MoveChina, at the conference, along with a corresponding incentive plan: quality content creators will receive a soul-bound NFT issued by MoveChina on the Aptos/Sui network, which signifies special rights to some airdrop rewards on Aptos/Sui.
