巴哈马计划启动碳信用交易市场，将通过加密与碳排放结合提高 GDP
链捕手消息，据巴哈马媒体 The Nassau Guardian 报道，巴哈马总理 Philip Davis 2022 年协和美洲峰会上表示，该国计划将碳排放与加密联系起来，计划在未来几个月内在巴哈马启动第一个碳信用交易市场。
Philip Davis 表示，我们已经意识到加密货币的发展空间，由于工业化的干预，我国损失了 20% 的 GDP，而在加密货币方面进行创新就是解决该问题的方法。所以巴哈马应在金融领域追求加密货币，把加密与国家面临的其他重要问题之一气候变化联系起来。（The Nassau Guardian）
