"When will Ethereum merge?"
This is probably the most frequently asked question in the Ethereum community since 2022. At this point in time, I believe no one can provide a specific date. However, from the orderly progress of the merge work according to the testing plan by Ethereum developers, it is clear that this is indeed the most complex and significant hard fork in Ethereum's history.
Compared to the above question, there are actually many more important and relevant questions regarding the Ethereum merge that we need to understand. For example:

It is evident that the Ethereum merge is related to each of us, either directly or indirectly, and it even affects those outside the Ethereum ecosystem ------ because the post-merge Ethereum no longer requires massive electricity consumption, reducing carbon emissions by over 99%.
As the Ethereum merge approaches, ECN, in collaboration with Block Rhythm, Chain Catcher, 8btc, and DeFi Dao, is hosting an event themed The Merge & Weeth ------ The Distance Between Ethereum Merge and Us, inviting Ethereum Foundation researcher Hsiao-Wei Wang (the creator of the merge panda meme?), representatives from the liquid staking service provider Lido, and the decentralized staking service provider Rocket Pool, over three consecutive weeks to bring everyone thematic sharing + AMA, hoping to answer as many questions as possible about the merge and staking. Q&A Area: EthereumCN discord #Merge Event-1-ama-Questions Community Interaction Section ECN hopes that this event is not a traditional one-way output, but an effective two-way communication, allowing the mainstream Ethereum community to hear more voices from the Chinese community. At the same time, practicing the community spirit of Ethereum, mutual assistance leads to common progress. Therefore, we have planned two interactive segments: AMA Questions & Likes ECN's discord will set up a question channel for the three events, where effective questions asked within the specified time (please refer to the discord announcement)** will receive a thematic NFT from that event (the NFTs from the three events will be different!), **after the event, we will privately message each participant to collect addresses.
In addition to asking questions, we also encourage everyone to like (voting) valuable and resonant questions, so that in case there are too many questions and the guests cannot answer them all, a natural selection result can be formed. Of course, this is not the only way to select questions. "Class Representative" Selection Since these three events are packed with valuable content, and the speakers in the latter two events will be using English, some friends who usually cannot keep up with Ethereum's development may face understanding difficulties. We know there are many talented individuals in the community, so we hope to mobilize the community's mutual assistance power and call for "class representatives" in advance. We hope that during each event, everyone can open the Bilibili live stream while also opening the ECN discord event live stream channel. If they hear the guests discussing familiar content, they can quickly share any written materials (regardless of source or language) or information they have learned in the channel, to help other community members understand. If you are proficient in English, we also call for wild subtitle contributors (the second type of class representatives) to translate the parts they understand and find valuable for everyone's reference.
Similarly, for quality sharing content and translations, we encourage everyone to be generous with their likes. The 15 "class representatives" with the most likes from each event (cumulative) will receive a beautiful POAP from this event + the thematic NFT from that event.
