The 15-day Gitcoin Round 13 Donation will end at 8 AM Beijing time on March 25. The number of projects participating in this round of donations has reached 830, and the main prize pool has increased from 1 million yuan in the previous round to 1.2 million dollars.

It is understood that the overall structure of Round 13 grants is similar to that of Round 12, with three types of rounds:

  • Main round of 1.2 million dollars, primarily funding projects in the Ethereum ecosystem
  • Ecosystem (ZK Tech, Open Gaming, Polygon, ENS, Algorand, OlympusDAO, NFTs, Uniswap, and Radicle)
  • Climate solutions, aid to Ukraine, life sciences

In terms of fundraising methods, Gitcoin adopts a "quadratic" fundraising approach, where the more people participate in the donations, the better the matching effect; at the same time, small donations will be well matched. This fundraising method means that the projects with the most community support (in terms of the number of contributors) will receive the largest portion of the matching pool, fully reflecting the significance of community decision-making and allowing the funded projects to meet the original intention of adding value to the community.

In this article, Chain Catcher will introduce 20 high-quality projects that have emerged in this Gitcoin donation event, sorted by the number of project contributors (based on the statistics at the time of publication) for readers' reference.

If you are still unsure how to donate to projects on Gitcoin, you can read our previous tutorial "Super Detailed Gitcoin Donation Guide, ZkSync Interaction Done in One Go," which we believe will be helpful to you.
