以太坊基金会宣布将“ETH 2.0”更名为“共识层”
链捕手消息，以太坊基金会宣布，以太坊在升级协议的同时，也面临着定位的转变，在此基础上，以太坊的一个关键是远离“Eth1”和“Eth2”术语。在2021 年底，核心开发人员已经停止使用术语，已分别使用“执行层”和“共识层”来替代Eth1.0、ETH 2.0，路线图保持不变。
执行层是所有智能合约和网络规则所在的地方，而共识层确保为网络做出贡献的所有设备都按照规则行事，并惩罚那些不遵守规则的设备。在共识层准备好替换当前的挖矿系统后，这两层将合并为以太坊。
据悉，以太坊基金会的改名原因包括心智模型（避免用户认为一旦 Eth2 存在，Eth1 就不再存在）、预防诈骗、质押清晰度、包容性等原因。
