On April 17, 2021, the Internet Yuelu Summit · Wanbao Blockchain Forum will be held in "Chain City" Loudi. The conference is hosted by the Hunan Provincial Internet Information Office, the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Loudi Municipal People's Government. It is organized by the Loudi Internet Information Office, the Loudi Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Loudi Wanbao New District Management Committee, the Loudi Wanbao New District Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., and the Hunan Blockchain Association, with the assistance of the Loudi Wanbao Blockchain Industrial Park, the Changsha Xingsha Blockchain Industrial Park, and the Changsha Blockchain Industrial Park.
Loudi, the host city of this conference, is one of the few cities in China that started early and acted quickly in the blockchain industry. As early as the end of 2016, Loudi began exploring the blockchain industry and introduced a series of policies to support its development. In less than five years, Loudi has carved out a blockchain industry path that can be replicated by most cities in China, achieving breakthrough progress in government affairs, people's livelihoods, finance, smart cities, and other areas, earning multiple national firsts. For example, the first blockchain electronic certificate for real estate in the country, the first government alliance chain in the country, and the first provincial-level blockchain industrial park, among others. These achievements undoubtedly make people look at Loudi, a third- and fourth-tier city, with new eyes, and Loudi has thus earned the reputation of "Blockchain City."
